Holy crap

Post by Phillippi »

I see that Duff redid their website and adjusted their prices. The coils like a big jump in price to $162!!! (#5107 3.5" Progressive Coil Spring, pair, $162.00)

I am glad I bought mine last year when I did....

The price was the reason I always recommended them. That's an awefully big jump.

As I understand, duff has gone through some changes in the last couple years. It's very possible that they aren't even selling the same coil anymore.

I only paid $140 for the superflex I am running. $162 is too high.

With the big gas hike I think you will see alot of items jump up in price. Diesel especially, since most of it is trucked in. Not to be to political but thank you Mr. President. :usa:

There is no way that the price increase from $117 to $162 has to do with gas prices. There is no way that it costs $45 for ship them to duff from their maker.

And how did Bush make the gas prices go up? War? Thats a load of crap. Around Utah in about a weeks time we saw a $0.20 jump. Thats BS no matter how you look at it.

well oill production in ythe middle east is at maximum capacity apparently in 2-3yrs the ammount they produce will start to decline due to lack of reserves

btw it's still cheap down there compared to up here i'm paying about $3.30 gal us
and it's still 1/3 the cost of what gas is in europe

also gas prices are finally catching up with inflation

i'm finding myself walking riding my bike and planning my vehicle trips due to the increase in fuel costs

How come our gas prices went from $1.39 a gallon to $2.49 a gallon since he took office. I never said it was do to the war. A lot of the Bush's family oil friends live in Saudi. ;)

you can pick up xj 3" lift springs all day from ebay for around $50. They flex 10 times better, but you need dual shocks if you drive them alot on the street.

The Duff coils were cheap vs the other Bronco houses and they figured they could make some extra money and I am sure that costs have gone up for them over the years.
There are many other options for coils that are the same price or cheaper.
ps 5.0 if you get a chance give me a ring.
