THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR & IAC MOTOR

Post by Jbroncoh »

I'm parting an '86 BII, & have a guy that wants the throttle position sensor & IAC motor. Can someone please tell me exactly where these 2 items are located & round about what they're worth? Thanx.

the throttle position sensor is on the throttle body on the left I think..... 3 wire sensor. the IAC is on the side of the upper intake, if you look on the right side of the upper intake just behind the throttle body, 2 wire sensor.

look up the new price on autozone.com and half it I would be happy with the buy.

yeah go to the left side of the link and click sensor that will take you to all the sensors on the ford truck's. your throttle position sensor should be directly under the throttle body at least it is on the fullsize efi rig's. the iac is another name for idle air bypass it's also on the throttle body little gray thing that looks like a cylinder with a solinoid on the end.
