Heater problems + Exhaust Problems + anything = My B2
My engine warms up but it's still pumping in cold air. I touched the heater coil and it was cold. It ran at least 10 minutes. Plus I have a REALLY strong gas smell coming from my exhaust pipe, and i about get gassed when i open the door.
HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bronc Rider (is only 15!!)
did you check your coolent level?
low coolent will give you no heat and an over heating motor.

well, if you have a strong smeel of gas from the exhaust you are running rich. did your check engine light kick on? have your codes pulled and fix what they tell you is wrong. I don't think there is any part that would make a corrilation between the two though. usually if the heater isn't blowing warm air you could have a few things wrong......low anitfreeze or the motor isn't warming up enough because its too cold. what is your temp looking like after you have been driving it for a little.....like normal operating temp?

No heat - No problem
You have an air bubble in your heater core. Remove the outlet hose (goes to water pump) from the heater core, start and let coolant start coming out and slip hose on. Should fix your problem.
Adding a inspection tee and cap in the outlet hose will allow you to do this also.
Good luck
