6 years and 3 months so far in the Army Reserve as an MP. I am a Staff Sergeant. Deployed twice, for a year each time, the most recent one was to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom. I just got back about two weeks ago and boy am I glad to be home to the USA!!! Thanks to all the soldiers for what you do, and thanks to all those that support us!

I have never been enlisted, nor do I ever intend to enlist; my uncle hated every minute of his 4-year enlistment, and risking my life for the interests of a few oil barons and such is not my cup of tea.

You do realize, that's a pretty disrespectful thing say to those of use that have served, and know better.

Like it or not, it's a job that has to be done, and someone has to do it.

I agree that its disrespectful. I am not, nor I have I been in before, but I respect everyone who was or is in the military. Plus I guess I dont agree with the comment about oil barons either...

So, I am not allowed to express my opinion on the matter? I am sure that there are a lot of guys in the military, of whom never wanted to get involved in this whole mess. My opinion cannot be stated? What is this? FOX news online?
