1988 Ford Bronco ii not cranking/possible fuel problem
1988 Ford Bronco ii not cranking/possible fuel problem
It is the 2.9l EFI and 4x4. Bronco will not crank. Will turn over and is getting spark. I recently replaced both fuel pumps, fuel tank, fuel filter, and spark plugs. After doing so it seems to not be getting fuel. Will crank by spraying starting fluid but once I stop spraying, it dies again. Any thoughts on what my issue may be?

Hey man, sounds like you've already put in some work on your Bronco, nice job on the fuel system and spark plugs. Since it's cranking with starter fluid but won't stay running, the issue could be related to fuel delivery. Check the fuel pressure to ensure it's within the proper range and that there are no leaks in the fuel lines. You may also want to inspect the fuel injectors and the fuel injection system for any clogs or malfunctions. Good luck, and keep up the good work on your ride!

Finally got it running good. Fuel pressure was reading good. I replaced the MAP sensor and it ran like a brand new vehicle. Not bad for it to be sitting for the last 7 years.
