Fuel problem

Post by Zackman6 »

Ok so yesterday out of nowhere my '86 bii didn't want to start, I traced the problem to the fuel system, I didn't hear the fuel pump kick on when I turned the key on so I figured my pump went out, so I replaced the high pressure pump on the frame rail, and still nothing. Waste of $100! Now I'm lost. There's gotta be a relay somewhere right? Could that have gone out? Are there any fuseable links/fuses for the system?

there is a relay next to the mag switch on the right inner fender (green). You might want to look at the inertia switch on the pass. side floor.

Thanks, I've checked out the inertia switch, how do you know if it's bad?
