Diesel engine in Bronco ll??

Anybody heard of a swap to diesel in a Bronco ll? I am thinking of a turbo diesel that will increase the power and give me far better fuel economy. I have an 83 4 x 4 with the 2.8L V6 and five speed manual tranny. I believe the tranny is either Mazda or Mitsubishi so thought one of their turbo diesels may fit without too much hassle.

for one b2 didnt come out till 84 but you can almost put anything you want in any vehicle

Thats what that button is for j/k lol I try to stay away from buttons I get in trouble by the wife everytime we go into walmart lol
