Hi all....
I'm new here but not new to Bronco's!
I have an 88 Bronco II with an AL4D tranny.
Just had the tranny go out on me so I bought another used one. My Bronco II is a FLOOR shift. The one I am putting in is from a TREE shift Bronco II. I notice the linkage connector at the tranny is slightly different. Can I swap the linkage connectors out between the 2 transmissions? It looks like if I pull off the pan I should be able to get to it from the inside?

I got to drive the truck first then helped him pull it out.
Tranny looked real clean for coming out of an 89. Looks to have been replaced. At $250.00 kinda hard to pass.
I wanted to put in a manual but we need to get my son up and going. I plan on doing a manual conversio later.
By VB I assume you mean valve body. Any trick to that?
