1985 ford bronco 2 with a np435... HELP
i have a 85 ford bronco 2 4x4... it orignally had a 2.8 v-6 5 speed tranny, and tranfer case... i have a 302 (carb) with a 4 speed now (np435) and 205 transfer case... was wondering if anyone has does this conversion, and if so what clutch linkage did they use?.. i would like it to be easy and cheap to do.. pictures would b great... if need my number to text me information let me know..thank you

Yes it has been done. A buddy used to run an Ranger with that set-up. And I have a Ranger/buggy with that set-up, is a hydraulic clutch set-up. But i do not have any pics

from a 84ish F150, 300 six. use the bell,xternal slave and master(i think)

use the what, u said bell.....? bellhousing or the x.slave on the bell? i lost..lease more info

Does it make a difference... the motor is a 302 (1972) and the tranny and transfer case is from a 1977 f 150.. so would a bell housing from a 300 6 interchange..? just tryin to figure stuff out.. thank you for all your help so far...

yes the bell will fit. you cannot use the 300 six flywheel

bellhousing pic. not in the pic is the bracket that holds the slave to the bell. i had a 69 302,435/205 in my 83 ranger.

So i have to use the 302 flywheel and clutch for the 77 transmission or the 72 motor.... if so then i need to find the bell housing.. crap...lol... ...
now another ?.. do u have to fab up a bracket or anything.. or not?.. any more information would b great...

go find a 84/87 F150 in a JY and grab the parts off it.. got a oil pan,motor mounts,exhaust maniflods,throttle linkage,radiator,oil filter relocation kit yet?

you need a 164 tooth 28oz flywheel. did the 77 motor have a std. or automatic tranny on it?? gonna need a piliot bushing if it had a auto on it.

k i know .... i just need to find the bellhousing... so will i have to fab up any brackets for it?

got it all except the remote oil filter... actually, i have that to except the wrong screw in piece.. the part that screws into the block, the lines come out and towards the steering box.. i want the one that goes to the side.. i know hard to explain...
