Hey y'all,

I'mm looking into joining your illustrious club. There's manual 88 in cherry (photo's look awesome) condition that i have scoped out. Apparently it's only got 90,000 miles on it, but i'm not sure there should be a 1 in front of that number. I'm heading out to look at it tomorrow and wonder if there's anything obvious to look out for. I've trawled the tech forum and figured i should give it a good spin for engine noise/ ride vibration/ brakes/ clutch and gears, doing some hill starts and looking at the driveshaft/rubber seals, switching in and out of 4X4. Like i said it LOOKS cherry and I reckon the engine has been steam cleaned too. They want $7500 for it and I would like to be able to ID any issues that might have been spit polished. I'm new to the country (married a local) and no longer have the: space / tools / mates that know how to use em, to keep a daily (if its a p.o.s) on the road.

Yeah, that's what I thought, but she looked so nice!! I'm still going to dive it though. Give myself a frame of reference.
