Alternator Wiring Harness Question

Post by tonymasone »

The connector that attaches to the top of the alternator on my 87 B2 is completely shot. The side that connects to the main wiring harness is still good. What would be the best way to replace this connector (or if easier the entire harness). I can soldier or splice in a new connector or entire cable, but I have no idea where to get one.

Thanks ahead.

You might want to get a connector pin removal and installation tool. Try Eastwood Co or good old Harbor fright. Having that little bugger can save you big bucks and hours in labor..
