Swapping Front grille/fenders?

I just recently got an 87 BII for next to nothing, I currently have a 89 BII. I'm using it to swap some parts, but I was curious if it was possible/practical to swap the front grill assembly (I like the look of the 87 over the 89), what sort of problems would I run into? I'm assuming it requires the swap in front fenders (which is not a big deal I need to replace mine anyway).

ya need to swap the whole front clip.the radiator is different
