4x4 not working

i have a 89 bronco,its an automatic.
when i press the 4x4 button nothing seems to happen, no lights, no sounds, nothing.
Does any one know what can be my problem?

He meant down a few threads. In the Bronco Tech section down a couple from yours is someone with similiar problems.
