Haha. Thanks for staying behind me through this. I'm getting different ignition parts next Friday. We'll see what happens then. I'll have wiring questions then for sure. Then it should be ready.

I have a question for you Ranger Dave. Are the distributor driveshafts interchangable? I completely forgot about that when I picked up my parts today. I need a 1/4" hole and got a 5/16" hole. :frown:

I got the distributor in. Now onto my next concern. My universal fuel pump (4-7 psi) says to mount it 1 ft from the btm of the tank. Now, I'm leaving my sending unit hooked up so should I still follow these instructions? Also it's a 2 wire set up and I want to run it through the inertia switch. What do I need to do?

That's ok. I was going to remove the relay and redo the wiring. What side of the starter relay does the battery positive cable go to? I tried to test my interior lights and get the motor to crank and got nothing from either. How does the fuse box get the power? It doesn't go through the ecu right? Basically I can go down there tomorrow and pull the computer and all the wires that go to it? If these questions could get answered it would be great. Please understand I did search for these and I do have wiring diagrams but I keep getting confused. It's so close!

Ok. Simple enough. I still want my lights though that's why I was wondering about the fuse box. I also think I have the wires on the starter relay the wrong way. A picture would be great. I'd prefer a picture over a diagram.

I just unplugged everything that was connected to or in the way of the 2.9 to get it out. Plus I didn't think I would be needing the computer. I didn't know..... I'm going
there now so if you need pics of anything for you to help me I'll get them.

Computer is gone. I'm going to wire them through the existing relay and through the ignition also using the intertia switch. I still have to take the power from the starter relay over to the driverside firewall plugs. I should be able to figure it out, I hope. I have an extra relay from the eca I'll use for the electric fan.
