I recently bought an 88-B2. It has the usual issues of leaks, needs a/c conversion, etc, but all in all, I'm delighted with it. I wish I'd bought a Ford years ago.
The problem is with the horn and key-ignition warning (and any other warning chimes it might have). I can't hear them at all. Friends tell me they can hear the key chime VERY faintly, but an IED in Iraq robbed me of too much hearing. Someone said it's like someone turned the volume way down on the B2.

Getting a horn relay is easy enough, but I'm now wondering if the 2 problems are somehow related. If the relay fixes the horn only, does anyone have any ideas about how to fix they key-chime?
