If you go to http://www.broncodata.com/reference/partnumber.htm there is a parts decoder that decodes the e7te to a 1987 bronco engine. But for some reason it decodes the distributer to an 86 t-bird.

Ok, so I'll never know for sure then. What should I do about the distributer? And if I'm eliminating my A/C will I need the dryer (I think that's what's inside the plastic cover inside the engine bay, I posted a pic) I'm about to go cutthr hole in the floor board and cut that as well. Thanks for the help.

Where's the casting number at? I just remembered the e7te, I'd have to check for the rest. I'm working on it now so it's no problem.

Pistons are flat top, not sure aboutthe valve reliefs. I'm not in the garage anymore. I'll have to let you know later.
