had a noise in the tractor, didnt affect anything, still wheeled ok,but then the clutch started to chatter taking off. other that the chatter it was fine till the other day i put the clutch in at a stop sign and it wanted to keep giong so i pulled the tranny(just slid it back) took the clutch out
so i put a 3.0 disc in it and back on the road again
Is that disk a reman disk. Reason I say is that the metal looks like it has been bead blasted. That is a typical move from some rebuilders. Although bead blasting makes things look like new. If they missed a crack on initial inspection the blasting makes it look nice but can hide small cracks and make them seem to disappear. Then they slap on new friction material and call it rebuilt. you buy thinking all is good but the crack gets bigger with use and then one day Clang thump rattle and game over.

im not sure, the clutch setup was new(0mi) when i got the truck. what ever garage installed the parts didnt take the factory spacer out of the slave cylinder before installing the new TOB.so the clutch slipped and the people junked the truck. then i got it. i had the tranny in and out 3 times before i figured out what it was.
