i just bought another 85 bronco and wanna put its 5 speed manual tranny in my other 85 thats auto how hard is this swap going to be and what will i need to modify to add aa clutch petal?
Re: tranny swap
You shouldn't need to modify anything. Pull all the parts from the BII with the 5spd and put them in your driver.

sorry to jump in on your topic but how hard would it be to go from a 5 speed to an automatic?

Re: tranny swap
well it be bout the same a lil heavier of course but you mmould need to run different coolant lines but the plus would be not worrying bout the clutch reassembly

Re: tranny swap
so you would need to swich the radiator(or are the cooler line holes on the radiator just pluged),cooler lines, the flywheel, and all the shift linkage that shouldnt be that hard to change cause it comes up from the same hole.
