my guess, when the ground wire was hooked up to the + post that took out the relay and possibly the ECU. look at the wiring dia.

when i plug one of the relays in it clicks as soon as i put it in so i guess thats a good hint that its grounded out somewhere huh? well idk i will get more into it tomorrow but thanks for all your help so far ranger dave

does anyone have any idea what wires actually turn on the fuel pumps? i know there is a positive and negative but which wires is the remote turn on?

ok so i tested the wires at the fuel pump in the tank and i tested them, the black of coarse was the ground and the pink and black one made my test light blink, and i am not sure if thats what its supposed to do or not?????? :confused:

just an update all new relays well the 3 on the passenger side

yeah when i hotwire the fuel pumps if the inertia switch is unhooked then they wont come on

here is a picture of where i hotwire it now, since i have replaced the relay that i used to do it from but i touch the bare parts of these two sets of wires together
