16 in rims on 1986 BII ???

Post by ticomic »

Yo!
Greetings from chilly Northern Québec. 1986 BII in it's second winter with me, not a single problem. I did have to feed it some gasline antifreeze at -32C last week. Was coughing.
A neighbour just gave me 4 X 215-70-16 winter tires, barely used. If I could find 16 in rims that fit the BII, I could avoid the hassle of selling them and re-buying 15-inchers for next year. Any chance there's a 16-in rim out there that fits a BII ?
Thanks and warm thoughts!

I've got 16" rims on my BII from a 200? Explorer SportTrac, bigger tires though, 245's. Probably newer Rangers also have 16" wheels. Image

Yo!
How 'bout that! Nothing like good news in c-c-cold weather...I'll be making phone calls for sure!
Merci, friend.
