Question about push button 4x4

Post by Nmlaz »

First time poster: I am looking for a BII and am a little leary about push button 4x4 option. I dont plan on doing any serious off roading, but I might... I was curious if this option is something to keep away from.

Any feedback would be great. Thanks in advance.

I don't know which is better. I recently bought a BII with 5 spd overdrive, manual transfercase where i shift it myself, and automatic hubs.

I have always liked non-electric pushbutton.

i perfer manual for the sole reason of nothing goes wrong with a shift lever. elctronic shift has a switch and a shift motor for the t-case, which could go bad. worse case senario is the motor goes bad and you have to replace it, i wouldn't let shifting type steer your decision either way.
