89 b2 drive shaft

Post by branger »

i bought a 89 bronco2 with a broken rear driveshaft, it looks like a "tulip" style, so i went to the junkyard and got a drive shaft out of another b2 and it was different, it had u joints, and a cv joint, i would like to use this drive shaft but only one end bolts up. What should i do?

sounds like you bought an old old one some of the older b2s had a yoke on the back of the transfercase which if i am not mistaken you can swap yokes on the transfer case

If i remember correctly there is 2 styles of driveshaft in bronco2s. My haynes manual has both in it, although I can't find it :wtf: .
