U joints

does anybody know of an easy way to get the middle u joint [ front axl next to the pig ] off with out droping the axl .. the 2 outside ones came off ok , but im thinking that theres a clip or something inside the pig .
any advise would be helpfull.

yes there is a clip inside the diff that u most remove in order to pull the shaft
and in order to get to the clip you have to pull the diff
I just pulle my axle 2 weeks ago to check my gears after a bad recovery and it is a pain in the but it helps if you have a good friend to help with pulling the axle
you can take the passenger side spindle apart and then unbolt the diff and pull it that way the driverside shaft just slips out no clip or at least in the D35

Yaeh getting to the c-clip is a PITA.
