Jeep Canyon rims on 90 bronco II...Update.

I tried to put a set of Jeep Canyon Rims 15x8 on my bronco II and the front was not compatible with the stock "automatic locking hubs". Is there ANY way to fix this?

Update=My neighbor is willing to do it, but his milling machine is like 6 hours away (west virginia), however, he is asking a nearby associate if he would allow us to use his. Stay tuned.

I guess if you have a machine shop you could ream out the center for the front hub.

actually my neighbor owns a machine shop, I'll have to ask him if he can do it. Thanks for the replies.

If you do go ahead and machine out the center for the front hub to fit, make sure you take pictures of the process. With the right tools it wouldnt be that hard to do, but it would be interesting to see it happen and then the end result. Good luck.

do all 4 if you do any. it is really very easy to either chuck up in a lathe or circle mill on a cnc mill

My neighbor is on a mini-vacation and comes back pretty soon. I'll keep everyone posted with pictures before, during, and after as best as I can.

I'd be surprised if you will be able to get a machine shop to bore out your rims. The liability associated with altering and removing metal from someone else's product, especially rims for an automobile that require their design engineered strength, would be considerable. Wouldn't happen on any machine in my shop. But good luck.

Yep, and that my friend is why I purchased liability insurance, can't run a shop without it.
