Well it has begun. I am tearing down the b2 now to pull the 2.9L out and sell it.

Also per my wife, please ignore the mess of kids toys in the picture...

Posting progress pics is my motivation to get things done. Here is what is done today. Raditor/shroud, fan & fan clutch, and side body panels. Ran out of time before I had to get ready for work....

Hopefully I will get more done tomorrow.

ok I got a couple of hours of work on this today before work... Sometimes I wish I had a normal job with normal days/hours....

Can I tell you how much I hate pinch welds!??!!! I had to drill out like 30 of them to get the front off.

Plan is take out the old 2.9L and sell it to a local guy. Then start the tear down of the FS and mark every wire to put in mine. Hopefully it will go in the same way it came out for an easy swap. My only problem lately is work interrupting the work on it. As a matter of fact im working right now...... :wtf:

5.0 efi, making my own body mounts using the 2.9l mounts and 1/2" plate way. AOD tranny, and BW1356 I believe. All already bolted together in the FS. Because of the way its already in the FS I am hoping that its that much easier to put in mine. As far as headers I do have some headman headers I got for next to nothing for a B2/ranger 5.0 swap that I will try as well. And it started like way fast the other day when I moved it into place. I was happy about that. It sounded good as well.
