Could somone explain what the difference is between the skyjacker class 1 6" system and the class 2 6" system?? here is the linkhttp://www.rockymountainsusp.com/fd4_Rgr83_97.htm

Also, is the 600 dollar upgrade recomended or necesary? i dont do rock crawlin, just mudding and messing around. My rigs not to hardcore(stock i just got it this week!!!), but I like to be able to get around and am not a 4x4 virgin by any means.

Systems usually come with shocks and other hardware. The item numbers would not give me the listing of the equipment. I would assume that the #2 came with extended radius arms and mabe dual front shock mounts, thus elevating the cost of performance.

sometimes class ones will come with rear blocks for the leaves and class 2 new rear leaf spring pack. I could be off though.

$600 extra is a lot of money, but think about the future when you start expanding your horizons and what to start even more up grades. Etended radios arms and bigger leafs in the rear make a big difference.
Many years ago, when I first lifted my BII I thought that a class 1 lift was all I needed. I later on wish I would have spent a little more money on it for performance reasons.
Remember though, if you go with a 6 inch lift you are going to need longer brake line and a longer c/v style drive shaft.
