Axles
In my 86' Bronco II the axles are dana 25 and ford 7.5. Can I run 35s on these axles without them breaking?

I have run 34 inch tires with a D28. I have found that you have to use finesse with it. most of the time it is the axle shafts that go. I have the same probelm with my D44 and still break the same parts.

EBSteve just likes to watch me break things.:-)

yeah its the axle shafts they brakes easy. but you can beat the hell out them jumping and running them into things. i ran a dana 44 with 36's and never had a problem and crawled it in the rocks alot. but im mr finesse its rare i floor it. Im putting 44's on right now on my bronco II and im not worried about braken my axles but i runone ton stuff now.

Im like Ranger5.0, I fan 34's on my old dana 28 and it worked fine ontill I wasted my money on a locker for it. But I only busted shafts and u-joint only when i would act stupid and get the rpm's on up there. If you do bust any shaft besure to change your seals also. Once you run water in there your whole third member will go. If you run 35's get use to keepen it in 4 low.
