To start off, let me tell about what i have.
1990 Ford Bronco II XL 4x4
Stock 2.9V6 (165,000 orig miles)
Stock tran/trans case
Stock..

Hell, everything is absolutley stock except for the 215's and my head-unit.
I plan on doing a full v-8 swap, obviously. My application is 1/3 Daily Driver, 2/3 Mud Toy untill i can fix up my '94 Mustang for a DD. Not full DD, but i need it to be driveable on the road a decent amount - Yet i need it to be able to take quite a bit of beating offroad. And i want to push, at minimum 31's, but probably 33's soon, 35's max.
To make the swap easier, i already have a 3" body lift i need to put on. I cant fab for crap
My budget... Sucks

Anyway, to the questions.
I know the 91-94 sploder are very good for having mostly everything, but it never hurts to have options, right?
Engine
I preferably would like a fuel injected 289, but a carbed 302 is starting to sound much more appealing.
-preferrably mass air flow censor, if applicable
-Which model/years can i find a suitable 302/289
-Any difficulties or trouble areas in the engine area during swap
-Anything worth note needing to be changes/removed while possible
-Any other specific info or insights or tips are most definitly welcome.
Transmission/Transfer Case
-Preferrably manual if it affects later information
-What model/years are good choices
-What is a good tran/t-case combo for my type of application
-What model/year for t-case
-Preferably no notching in the frame (very little fab skills, but i have to learn sometime)
Front End/Rear End
I know sploder 35's and 8.8's work, but should i look for any other front/rear's? Im also confused about the TTB front end thing (what is it?) - because i've heard it has some bad downfalls, thus why i wonder if i need to look for anything else, or keep it TTB, or even leave them alone? Probably having to change both, it would be nice to get disc rear.
-which model/year for front/rear, respectivley
-would the ABS system be messed up, or complicated if i went to disc rear?
Suspension
I plan on getting cut-out fender flares, and cutting quite a bit to make it easier to stick 31's/33's.
-should i get a suspension lift, if so, how high, and from where would you reccomend.
-if i change the front/rear ends, should i try to go leaf spring, or coil springs, or any specific combination?
-Is there anything i need/can do to compensate for the added weight of the new engine?
Mods
I know mods are mostly depending on personal style, but...
-Any performance add/bolt ons i should add for a little more torque to get my wheels turning? Of course, depending on if the axle set-up anyone reccomends would need more help to turn the wheels
Exhaust ?
I doubt it, but is there any chance that some ford model comes stock with a dual exhaust that i could grab to fit my application, with some fabbing/moding? I would just rather not spend $7-800 on a pro dual exhaust. No biggie, just curious
Mounts, Hardware, Fans, ETC
Economy to middle of the road perfomance being kept in mind...
-motor mounts?
-Hardware Reccomendations?
-any fan reccomendations? a cool engine is always a good thing
-Brackets, what have you, or anything else needed/reccomended?
Well, i think that should just about cover it. Im sorry its so long... I hope no one wants to kill me... But like i said, im lucky i can even go online - im that far out in the boondocks - the smiley selection alone took 15 minutes to load...
If anyone feels like it, i have a small block ford V8 from a 77 f250... how bad would that be to try to stick in my B2? Wont do it, but it just came to mind... Probably going to turn that F250 into my mud club's Vehicular Rescue/Removal vehicle anyway.
Again, thank you all so much, i really appreciate it!!! [/b]
