how do you change a clutch in a 88 bronco2 my wifes bro and i have been rebuilding his and we are going to start my this week but he needs his clutch done before it snows

That is an interesting question. You replace the clutch by removing the trans and transfer case if equipped. The shop repair manual be it Chilton's or whatever will have a section on how to change the clutch. It is to long a process to spell it out right here.

If you don't have a repair manual handy I would suggest you go to your local parts store and BUY one!!! If you haven't done this before and you insist on winging it you could cause MAJOR damage. That is why they sell books. If you have one, Then READ,READ,READ that book!
