4.10 install

Post by black96ranger »

Does anybody know what gear i need, color, tooth count for a 96 ranger 5 speed? I was wondering if a mustang gear would work in it. I'm planning on swapping in a set of 4.10's this weekend. Thanks!

I want to say all ford gears for the speedo cables are the same.. I plugged the BII cable right into the 205 from the 79 bronco...I know you get a bunch of stuff laying around...I would see how it acts first then if it buggs you that much pull it and count the teeth, then go from there. what gear is in the ranger now?
