drive shaft question

does anyone know if an 87 bii would have a u joint or cv style drive shaft in the rear? or is there no for sure anwser?

i have 87 b2, and stock was cv (crap) style i upgraded to u-joint style. any driveline shop usually can make for u. ifound mine at drivelines northwest in everett WA. for $230

We used to have an '87 B2 (until the wife flipped it and totaled the thing). Anyway that one and the current '90 B2 had CV type rear shafts. I have replaced the CV shaft on the '90 with a u-joint style from the salvage yard. Cost was $10 and time to remove it. Not that easy to find but worth looking for at that price.

thanks for the help. i just figured out (after buying) i wasnt told the correct year of the truck and i really didnt pay much attention to it anyway, buts its and 84 XLT in decent shape. i got it for $100 and it cost $60 for a tow so i think it was a pretty good deal. It had one of the triple u joint slip yoke drive shafts in it, and i just got done putting it in my 90 bii and it works great.
