web site setup?

Post by DBrown »

I was looking to set up a company website but I am a little green when it comes to this stuff. does anyone have some info on what I should look for or recommend a place to host my page and email name?

I looked at godaddy.com but I am not realy familiar with some of the stuff they are talking about...

I am basicly looking to have a web page to host a few pictures and some contact info and a email simmilar to "myname@companyname.com"

I would recommend godaddy.com for registering your domain name. They are a reputable company, and have good prices. They also do hosting, but I'm not sure how good their prices are for hosting.

Many ISP's give you some free webspace with your internet service. If that's the case, you can use that, then point your domain name there.

Then you get to learn how to build a webpage
