O.k., I finally got everything working on the 4.0 in my 88 B2 but when I crank the B2 over I found that I have no spark. The plug that goes from the ICM to the coil pack has power going through it. The 4.0 harness is from a 1994 Explorer. Anyone have any ideas?

You can probley run as long as you want. I had mine disconnected for awhile and didn't have any problems. The only thing I noticed was that it ran richer and often at stop lights it would idle too low and die. Once I put a new one back on it ran great.

If it makes any difference you could call your local Ford dealer depending on what type of questions you have. I live in Nebraska and call Anderson Ford for technical questions from time to time and they have always gladly let me speak to a mechanic. I am not sure what type of help you are looking ...

I would check ebay. I have found a lot of stuff on there that I couldn't find anywhere else. If it isn't on there right away, check back in a week or so. New stuff is listed daily.
