Replacing the oil sending unit
Has anyone replaced/removed the oil sending unit on a 2.9 while everything was still assembled? Simple as replacing a spark plug but how the hell do you get a tool around it to get the old one out?

Installing after-market gauge cluster
I just put new heads on my '88 2.9 and decided to add gauges to keep from having to do it again. Three questions for those who have done this before. 1 – Oil pressure gauge. Where is the existing OIL light connection on the engine? Is there any reason to go with the “T” and hook the new gauge up AND ...

Alrighty, took everything yall said into consideration and decided to have the 30’s put on over the weekend. They look great but yeah, hard turns they rub. LOUDLY.
