Re: axles replace
yes, they are Dana 35. There are some cross breeds you want to stay away from though. If the third member housing is smooth and doesn't have the ribs in it, then it's a cross breed. Yes you can buy a limited slip for the Explorer Dana 35.

gagepod
I was wondering if anybody has purchased a dual gage pod (pillar type) for their b2. I wanted to buy one but can only find universal type and wanted to know how well it worked/looked. they had a couple different ones at JC Whitney one made by Sunpro for 31.99 and one from Superpro for 22.99. Any ...

Re: so you think you know your stuff
I work at an auto shop. An 87 bronco came in for a coolant leak. I changed the radiator and the thermostat. It then wanted to overheat. So I decided the water pump was broken and I was right, the impeller on the pump had fallen off. So if you have not changed the pump my money would bet on the pump ...

7.5 or 8.8
If I had 2 differentials on my garage floor how would I tell the difference between the 8.8 and the 7.5. there is no ring gear on them and I know the open dif one is an 8.8. I am just trying to figure out if the other on is an 8.8 or 7.5, and it is a limited slip.

Recently mine was idleing at 1500-2000 RPM so I took the AIC and the throttle body off and cleaned them. They were both filthy and the AIC had a small twig in it. Two weeks before I went through a mud bog and so much mud got on my air filter that the next time I started it, the filter just riped in ...

I don't know the last year they had them, but I decided the closest thing to a b2 would be a Dodge Raider. I believe Jeeps are very capable vehicles but they are crap. I don't quite understand why you would need to get rid of the b2 because of it age. Anything can essentially be fixed, I guess it ...

There is a special tool to take the radio out of the dash. You can go buy it or make one out of a coat hanger(metal one), or use nails. Put them in the four holes in the face of the deck(make sure thier in far enough), then pull them twords eachother wile puling it from the dash. Good luck with that ...
