has anyone ever done f150 coils on an 88 supercab 4x4 ranger?

how much lift did u get?

any modifications?

I hear that all u gotta do i bend the 2 outer tabs outward so the coil fits in.??


heres a pic of my truck

i know PA body lifts come with just bolts which screw into the sleves. Are there any brands out there that have bolts AND nuts instead of the sleves?

are u for sure that the coil will fall out?

i got a 88 ranger 4x4. I took the nut off the coil and the coil is free. How do i get the coil out so i can get my spacers in? I dont have a coil spring compressor. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!!

i think its because the rail rusts out and fuel can go everywhere

my radiator cap wont come off my 88 ranger 2.9 i untwisted it all the way and i still wont come off how? Also how much coolant do i put in like 2 inches from the top or something??

2 inch lift will clear them possibly with minor fender cutting and 3 inch will clear them without trimming.

my 2.9 stalls on inclines and runs great on flat surfaces. Why? its not out of gas.

a guy told me that the fuel rails go bad on the 2.9 engines. is this true and what is a fuel rail?

all i know is that all suspension lifts make the center of gravity higher and more prone to roll. If u want more height and stability, get a body lift. If u want more suspension with stability get a body lift and a small suspension lift like 2 inch depends on how serious u r and your budget

i got a 1988 2.9 it was doing the same thing i ran some STP Fuel Injector Cleaner through it and it runs better also run sone STP oil treatment hope it helps!!
