Re: 1990 B2 fuel cell float replacement, now it doesn't star
Hmmm Runs before Fuel gauge and pump were messed with. Maybe something is missing like a ground. Or maybe a fuse poped. Can you hear the fuel pump run momentarily when you switch the key on. Yes I can hear the pump run. When I changed the float I also changed the filler hose because it was cracked ...

1990 B2 fuel cell float replacement, now it doesn't start
I replaced the fuel cell float because it was leaking. Now the B2 won't start. Not even a little sight of life. I've turned the key on a few times to get pressure back up but nothing. The inertia switch appears to be in the down position. The good part is the fuel guage works and shows 1/4 full ...

Love the cab clearance lights. Any problems installing them? Did you have to remove the headliner?

Re: clutch pedal goes all the way to the floor
I was able to solve the problem. The clip holding the clutch pedal to the clutch master cylinder fell off. It took me an hour to find the problem and one minute to fix it.

clutch pedal goes all the way to the floor
I went out to start the 1990 B2 and when I pushed the clutch it went all the way to the floor without any resistance. I'm wondering if I should look near the pedal or at the transmission? Are these known to break at one point more often then another?

Re: Valve Cover Gasket Replacement
The real question is how many beers in 6 hours. That's the way I judge my jobs at home. Warranty used to pay 1.2. CP 2.5. I should of told you it may be easier if you pull the ALT. No beers but a dozen cups of coffee and I have a TV and sofa in the garage. Its not like I'm going to get fired if I ...

Re: Valve Cover Gasket Replacement
Pass. side is the easy side. Remove bolts and hold down spacer (note that there is different spacers for the top and corners) clean the heck out of everything, even the holes. Make sure V/C is flat. Put gasket on V/C side with gasket cinch or spray adhesive. Assemble in reverse order. Oh, put a dab ...
