OK on my 88BII when my gas gauge gets to about 1/4 tank it just drops was there a prob with the floats or is that the sending units?

I only drive a max of 30 miles M-F to and from work and vary little on the weekends cause its so cold out

OK i got a question. Its winter here in joplin and the roads are pretty bad. I have manual locking hubs. Will it hurt anything if I keep the hubs locked in and drive in 2high?
