What is the diffrence in a 2.8 and a 2.9 block? Is the bolt pattern on the back of the block diffrent?

Thanks Guys for your help. :-) I took the B2 for a drive and found that the rebuilt tranny that I got is JUNK. :-( All/Most of the bearings are bad and the shift forks are worn. Have it all torn down and will have to search Monday for rebuild kit. Anybody have a place to look for the shift forks ...

Hey Ranger Dave. That is probably a good start but I thought while he was tearing it apart anyway he would be sure what gears he had. Sorry I posted my suggestion....

Check your front and rear for a tag. This will tell ya what gears ya have. If the tag is gone ya gotta pull the front and rear and count the teeth on ring and pinion. Good luck..
