Congrats! Did you go over your due date?

Guy I work with is due anytime now. Technically, we could be any time as well, but our due date is the 30th

I don't know if I'm ready for this

no, our due date was the 20th. at 37-40 weeks you are considered full term. the wife is a nurse so she realy looked at the pros and cons of being enduced and we came to the conclution that if we went any farther there might be a possiblity of the cord not realy giving the nutrients that the baby needed, so we talked to the doctor and he said he would go ahead with the birth if that was the way we wanted to go.

I didn't know if I was going to be ready either but once you see your child born it feels right. he looks just like my baby pics except for he has her eyes.

poor guy is getting snipped tomarrow.........

his name is Luke David

yeah, you know, the book.........

I have had 6 other kids around me alot from her sisters having kids so I am in good shape. he is realy calm so far too, so I think we will be ok. my dad and step mom are on there way from PA today also to help for a couple of weeks. that will help with giving us some more time to play with the baby. might help to get him on a schedule as much as possible too.

don't let anyone mess with you Matt, everyone swore up and down I was going to have a little girl to give me paybacks for all the hell I used to raise before I calmed down......I just kept telling them that I was "willing" my self a boy. sure enough when we went to the doctor for the20 wk ultrasound there HE was. I think you are blessed either way but I would prefer to have a boy for the first one.....kinda give the big brother syndrom and protect the smaller kids. ;)
