What is that a 66' or 67'. A buddy in school built his 67' with a custom built Boss 302. (351 clevland heads on a 302) The valves were HUGE!!!!! It was pretty fast. I think he got an A for that project. I wonder if it will keep up with v-8 S-10

DBrown - Please don't post any more pics of that car LOL! I drool all over my keyboard when I see that Falcon. I've replace 3 or 4 keyboards now. I love that car. Hope you put a pair of big balls under the hood...like a 429. Or at least a 302 with a huffer or bottle. What are your plans for it.
I had a chance to buy a 64 with a 390 w/428 heads and dual carbs. Talk about a rocket ship. As luck would have it I was a broke college student at the time. Several guys I went to school with had 10 sec. Falcons.
Can't think of anything witty, intelligent, or cool to say...guess I'm just stupid.

it is a 64 Falcon Futura.
well, the car came with a stock 5.0L in it but thats not enough.......so I went digging at some friends place and found a 351C that needed a rebuild so I am going to build that. right now it has a full cage, racing buckets, 5 point haneses, strange axles, subframe connectors, and lader bars that go halfway up the doors. I havent taken the 3rd out of the rear to see what gear or if its locked but I have a good feeling that it is. this car has centimental value......I don't know if y'all remember, but my trip to turkey bay got canceled last year? well the reason it was canclled was my friend, his wife and daughter were killed in a car wreck........3 months before the accendent I traded him my 73 dart for this car. I told him that I would throw in some cash to make the swap worth his while and his response was "I don't care if your giving me a pinto I want you to have something cool to build because I know you will finish it and I wouldn't" so it is kinda a colaberation of friends that is going to be working on this car.
I like the direction that the car was heading in but I am going to chang it a little. I kinda want a car that performs well in all conditions......go to the track and pop off a 13, take the twisties nice and tight, and still be a good cruiser. I have been doing alot of research on the falcon and I think all these goals are withing reason if I set it up right.

one of our other friends has a 66 fairlaine that we are doing at the same time but he is farther along on his then mine. if I can find a pic I will post it.....if you think the falcon is nice you will bust a nut when you see his 66.

I thought they were more rounded in the earlier years. 351 C is cool. Speaking pf 351 C's. My brother in law found a 2wd 78' ford pu with a 351 C and a c-6 totally built for offroading. Apparently you wouldn't know that it was built for . It has fiberglass fenders and 33's and all the suspension stuff. We will look at it tomorrow.

they are, 64 was the first year of the body style change. mine was an original v8/manual car so it makes it a little more valuable......well that and it is a 2 door

it is a cool car I was really impressed when I first saw it. I just wish bobby could have been here to help wrench but in a way he is. ;)
