4.3L Info

Post by gullion_a86 »

I was just wondering if a 4.3L engine, like one out of a Mustang, would work in a B2? Also what engine would be best in a b2? A 3.0, 4.0, 4.3, or a 5.0?

It all depends on what you want to do with the rig to decide what motor to use. I haven't heard of a 4.3L mustang motor. I know a 4.6L is to wide for the transformation. I know that a mildly built 2.8 will eat the stock axles.

I would go with a 4.0 or a 5.0 into a Bronco II. Just upgrade to the 8.8 and Dana 35 at least

Yeah, I think you mean the 4.6L. It's a really really wide engine. The 5.0L is hard to beat. Tons of aftermarket support. It's a proven engine that's been around since the 60's! That's got to tell you something.
