got a 1990 b2 yesterday

im having trubble with the 4x4 going in it makes a clicking sound when i push the 4x4e button {transfer case clicks } any suggestions would be great

Take the electric motor off the transfer case, mark the cover on motor, remove cover, unblot motor from housing, remove gear from housing, on back of gear is a little round stud. It should have a bushing on it, use a piece of rubber hose to replace it. Reassemble and re-install motor, enjoy your 4x4
