I have a 1987 Bronco II, and recently it has been having a perplexing, at least to me, electrical problem. On certain days when I leave for work, the turn signals and blower moter do not work. When I leave work in the evening, the turn signals and blower work just fine. I think one of the problems is that the turn signal switch is going bad, but the flashers and hi/lo beam still work, so I ordered a new one from Rock Auto. I suppose my question is are the turn signal and blower motor somehow on the same circuit, and that one don't work then both don't work? It is not really a major problem, yet, it is just perplexing. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this?
ThanksJim Welsh

Jimwelsh,
There is a common electric problem with the RBV steering column. It is a bad connector where the connector comes apart and makes for real interesting electrical gremlins.
If Mr Nobody has no objections I will post a link to my Website where I have a detailed article and what to look for. http://tekatlarge.net/Bronco-II-Steerin ... roblem.php
This may very well be your problem.
