1984 bronco want stay running

i have a 1984 bronco ii.it wont stay running while driving it down the road everytime i crank it after charging the battery it runs fine until i drive it everytime it goes dead it take forever to jump it off to get it back home.it has a new alternator and new batter.i was thinking it might be a bad ground.i was wondering if anybody knows were the ground might be or if it could be anything else. help is very appriciated

have you got the new alternator checked? in my area there was a bad shipment of alternators :wtf: ..first i would bring you b2 to autozone and get the alternator checked out :tongue2:

Check the fuse links at the starter realy. If you don't have power at the alt. it may be a fuse link.
