It appears the spammers are starting to resort to manually registering. I can crank up our defenses more, but that's a bit of an inconvenience to the new users, so I'd rather hold off on that for now.

We had one this morning Best I can tell by the logs is it was a human and not a bot or forum security hole. Hard to combat those without doing a post queue or some other process that would require our approval for a minimun number posts. That's no fun for anyone.
I am happy to hear it's been quiet since the last episode. I changed up the security question. That has seemed to be pretty effective since I implemented it.
