Back bumpers for a 1988 B2

Post by Zach Galloway »

Does anyone know if a 1988 Ranger aftermarket back bumper will fit a 1988 Bronco 2? I have chrome bumpers and would like to change to black, i'm trying to figure out if it would be cheaper to buy new ones or have the old ones sandblasted and powder coated. Thanks Zach

If your old bumpers are straight, sand or sandblast them and paint them. I sanded my chrome bumpers with a da sander and I think 80 grit paper. Painted with rustoleum, semi-gloss black. Held up very well, even my wife backing into a garage door :)
And if you do mess them up, touch is just a spray can away.
