I know this topic is getting old but I went to autozone today to find out about a slave from the 75 land cruiser.....and he asked me if it was 4x4 or 2x4? I assumed it was 4x4 but I just wanted to check?

I'm not even sure they made 2wd cruisers. So 4wd. Probably the same unit anyway. I'm sure there are others slave cylinders you could use. This one was recommended to me because it's easy to work with and has a decent throw...and it's reasonably priced.

Looks like this.
