on second thought its probably a low diff fluid sensor. my '88 b2 came with just a stopper where your sensor is. unplug it and see if any warning lights come on.

i got the 8.8 off of a 92 exploder, and im putting it in my 87 bii.
my bii has the regular 4x4 stick and im pretty shure the exploder had push button.

im just wondering if i need it. seeing how my bii didnt come with whatever option this rearend has.
