I called the dealer and lmc truck, they discontinued the 78-79 f-150 radius arm brackets that the dude used in the wright up from the home page. What are the best brackets to use with this swap? I'm using stock Early bronco radius arms with stock d-30 front axle btw and will end up with 6.5" of lift. I was further hoping to know what the track bar bracket length is that any of you used with a stock early bronco axle and track bar...? That would be the length of drop needed from the frame down to the bolt hole going through the frame side of the track bar mount...?
I ask because i have a fabricating shop real close to where i live (ruffstuffspecialties.com) who sells a few different designs for dirt cheap ($25). I'd much rather spend 25 bucks than several hours trying to make something work.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Mike

Well those certainly would be the best brackets. I should have established that this is a strict budget build and i'm not willing to spend that much as the majority of my offroading budget goes to the jeepspeed build.

yup, it looks as though it will come to that. Time to mangle some rivets.

Thats a clean looking b2 dave. I like the idea of saving ground clearance but don't like the idea of hindering travel. Its a give and take i guess. But your radius arm angle looks good still at what has to be around 5-6" of lift...am i right? Can you post a pic of your steering? Were you able to bolt up your stock early bronco steering to the stock b2 pitman arm? I got several sets of eb steering componants from the gent who sold me the axle i just havn't had a chance to hold it up to the b2 to see if it will work.

ok so i take it it bolted up then. I went and got all the steel today for my square driveshafts, picked up a track bar mount from ruff stuff as there a couple miles away and should have it all buttoned up next weekend. I'll post some pics of everything once complete.
